Does the ECN49-P replace the ECN21-P?
Yes. The Hytera ECN49-P is the current replacement for the ECN21-P. It retains the same 13-pin connector and broad HP/PDC series compatibility while adding improved NRR 30dB hearing protection and a higher IP54 rating.
Can this headset be used with a hard hat?

Does the ECN49-P support VOX operation?
No. The ECN49-P is designed for manual PTT operation via the oversized ear-cup button. VOX is not supported.
