The Icom F8101 is a compact and durable HF transceiver with built-in Automatic Link Establishment (ALE), which automatically selects the best channel and establishes a communication link for straightforward, reliable operation. Enclosed in a stealthy black, sealed structure, the F8101 is built to withstand demanding field conditions. The IC-F8101 and optional CFU-F8100 cooling fan unit have been tested to MIL-STD-810G and IP54 ratings.
