The Icom IC-F200 is Icom’s smallest UHF portable radio, purpose-built for industries including hospitality, construction, warehousing, events, and retail. Measuring just 3.7 × 2.0 × 1.1 inches (excluding antenna) and weighing only 5.5 oz, the F200 delivers a loud 600 mW speaker, an easy-to-read 4-digit display, and up to 15 hours of operation on a single charge — all in a slim, pocket-friendly form factor.
The F200 features a rugged polycarbonate housing rated to IP54 and MIL-STD-810G standards, protecting against dust, water spray, shock, and vibration. Three charging methods are supported: the included BC-262 cradle charger, direct USB Type-C™ body charging, and the optional BC-264 battery charger. A built-in VOX function enables hands-free operation when paired with compatible headsets, and two programmable keys allow customization for your team’s workflow.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the IC-F200 need to be programmed?
Yes, the IC-F200 must be programmed with your licensed frequencies before use. You’ll be asked at checkout whether you’d like programming, or you can add it in advance via our Atlantic Radio Programming Services page.
Does this radio require an FCC license to operate?
Yes. The IC-F200 operates on UHF business frequencies (450–470 MHz) that require an FCC Part 90 license. Atlantic Radio can assist with frequency coordination — contact us before ordering if you need guidance.
How is the IC-F200 charged?
Three charging methods are available: the included BC-262 cradle charger (approximately 5 hours for a full charge), direct USB Type-C™ body charging, or the optional BC-264 battery charger. Note that the USB Type-C port is for battery charging only and does not support data transfer.
Can I use this radio hands-free?
Yes. The IC-F200 includes a built-in VOX function for voice-activated transmission. It is compatible with the HS-94, HS-95, and HS-97 headsets when used with the OPC-2006LS adapter cable, sold separately.
Is the IC-F200 waterproof?
The IC-F200 is rated IP54, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and water spray from any direction. It is not rated for submersion. For full waterproofing, consider the Icom IC-F3400D or IC-F4400D series.
What is the difference between the radio-only and earpiece kit variants?
The radio-only variant (F200-11-USA) includes the radio, battery, cradle charger, AC adapter, and belt clip. The earpiece kit variant (F200-USA-Earpiece-Kit) adds a compatible earpiece accessory for immediate hands-free use out of the box.
