Does this kit include the internal potentiometer switch?
No. This product is the external molded plastic knob only. It fits over the existing internal metal D-shaft stem and does not include any internal electronic components.
Can this knob be used to replace a missing channel selector wheel?

How do I install this volume knob?
Installation is tool-free. Clear any debris from the exposed D-shaft stem on the top of the radio, align the flat internal edge of the knob with the flat side of the shaft, and press firmly straight down until seated.
