Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the PMMN4140A and the PMMN4140B?
The PMMN4140B is the current-generation revision of this microphone. It features updated internal components for improved reliability but looks and functions identically to the older PMMN4140 and PMMN4140A models.
What does "Work-When-Wet" mean?
Standard speaker mics can become muffled when water gets trapped in the speaker grill. The RM760 is engineered to instantly drain water from the housing, ensuring transmissions remain clear even immediately after submersion.
Does this microphone have a volume knob?
No. The RM760 (PMMN4140B) does not have a physical volume control, programmable button, or emergency button. If you require those controls, consider the Motorola RM780 (PMMN4128).
