Frequently Asked Questions
Has the PS1026 been replaced?
Yes. The Hytera PS1026 has been discontinued. The PS1014 is the current direct replacement. It uses the same US plug and provides the same 12VDC/1A output, making it a drop-in substitute for any charger that previously required the PS1026.
Is this power supply required for my charger, or is it optional?
For most Hytera rapid-rate chargers (including the CH10L19, CH10L23, and CH10L30), the PS1014 is sold separately and is required for operation — the charger does not include a power supply in the box. Check your charger’s listing to confirm.
Is there a European version of this power supply?
Yes. For EU-plug installations, see the Hytera PS1018, which provides the same 12VDC/1A output with a European Type C plug.
Can I use a third-party 12V/1A adapter instead?
Hytera recommends using the genuine PS1014 to ensure correct polarity, stable output, and safe operation. Third-party adapters may not meet Hytera’s polarity or current specifications and could damage the charger or battery.
